MaryBeth Gangemi is a breath work and myofunctional therapist who brings a compassionate and comprehensive approach to breathing and myofunctional therapy, at Systems Health Care. With extensive training in Buteyko Breathing, Oxygen Advantage, Myofunctional Therapy, and Original Strength she helps clients of all ages restore optimal function through practices that are grounded in science and guided by the art of personalized, attentive care.
MaryBeth’s work is rooted in the understanding that we can both heal the breath—by addressing dysfunctional patterns—and heal with the breath—using breath as a powerful tool to support overall health and healing, even when breathing isn’t the root cause of illness.
Her sessions address:
- Biomechanics – retraining posture, muscles, and movement for more efficient, effortless breathing.
- Biochemistry – restoring healthy carbon dioxide and oxygen balance for better energy, sleep, and focus.
- Psychophysiology – calming the nervous system and regulating stress through breath awareness and gentle modulation.
Myofunctional therapy is also available to support healthy tongue posture, nasal breathing, oral function, and more—laying the foundation for lasting improvements in breathing, sleep, and craniofacial development.
Appointments are available for children and adults.
