RGCC Cancer Testing

I am happy to announce that I am now offering this innovative laboratory testing in my office. I was introduced to RGCC while at a nutritional conference in September 2024 and have since taken their educational training and tested many patients, both for screening and cancer monitoring / therapeutics. I have been pleased with the results!

  • RGCC International: In short, this Greece-based lab provides testing for:
    • Cancer screening (Onco-D-Clare)
    • Cancer status and monitoring (Oncotrace)
    • Cancer specific therapies, both natural and drug efficacy (Onconomics Plus)

The Onco-D-Clare tests for all cancers except those of primary CNS/brain origin. This test is designed to test for cancer before symptoms appear and is for an individual who has NEVER been diagnosed with cancer of any type. Therefore, it’s referred to as a “healthy screening test.” An Onco D Clare is not dependent on Circulating Tumor Cells being present (which the Oncotrace detects), but specifically detects cancer presence from an analysis of gene expression profile of PMBCs (a special type of white blood cell), clustering analysis, and algorithms combined with artificial neural networks. The current validation accuracy data of the ODC are as follows: 93.34% +/- 2.88; True Positive Rate = 92.40 +/- 5.68; True Negative Rate = 94.78% +/- 6.78. *Certain autoimmune diseases can result in a false negative on the ODC. More info here.

* If you receive a positive reaction to cancer cells as a result of the Onco-D-Clare, the lab can run the Oncotrace with the same blood sample if notified within 48 hours of us receiving the results. Please let us know if you’d like us to automatically approve that if you receive a positive result!

The Oncotrace is a great test to consider if you’ve had any cancer (other than brain/CNS), and want to do more than just “wait and see” if your cancer comes back at your periodic medical screenings. The Oncotrace test records a baseline of your cancer status as you start your cancer treatment. This will include baseline values for a circulating tumor cell (CTC) count, phenotype markers, and stemness markers in your bloodstream. More info here.

So say you have had some type of skin cancer in the past – this test will measure your CTCs (circulating tumor cells) as well as show you which ones are most active, and which ones are Cancer Stem Cells, which can help to give you guidance for what you may want to consider in regards to various therapies. There’s an “expected” amount of CTCs you will have if you’ve had cancer, an expected amount if you are truly in remission, and an amount where you really need to be concerned and more proactive.

Personally, I think that anyone who has ever had any type of non-CNS cancer should do this test to see their CTC count, and how active (or inactive) certain cells truly are – especially the Cancer Stem Cells. *With the Oncotrace, there is a 15% false negative rate due to cancers that are encapsulated, cancers that are not yet releasing CTC, or if there simply isn’t any CTC in that particular blood sample at the time of the draw. Also, you must not be taking any cytotoxic substances or therapies (natural or pharmaceutical) for two weeks prior to a blood draw for this test, as well as the Onconomics tests. This means you will need to stop supplements such as vitamin C or D as well as certain medications such as ivermectin and others such as aromatase inhibitors (Arimidex, Femara, Aromasin). Typically, you monitor the results of this test every eight to twelve months.

* If you currently (or very recently) have had an active cancer occurrence, you may choose to run both the Oncotrace and one of Onconomics tests concurrently. This will save the time of waiting for the Oncotrace results, then sending in another blood sample, and waiting for the Onconomics results.

The Onconomics Tests then take the testing to the next level by challenging for sensitivities to 50+ herbs/nutrients (which we can then investigate further in the office with our muscle testing protocols), as well as providing numerous gene markers related to inflammation, oxidation status, and more. See the list here. Basically it will tell you if a certain substance is effective against your cancer cells. For those seeking to undergo any drug therapy, whether that may be some immunotherapy or chemotherapy, this test will do the same for a vast variety of drugs. So although your medical doctor may recommend a specific chemo therapeutic agent for your cancer, this test will tell you how well it will work against your specific cancer that YOU are dealing with – not just what the research shows as most effective against your type of cancer in a majority of people tested. *You do this test AFTER your first Oncotrace test results are received (or in combination) so you can monitor the various CTCs detected. You must not be taking any cytotoxic substances or therapies (natural or pharmaceutical) for two weeks prior to a blood draw for this test. Typically, you monitor the results of this test every twelve months.

Click on the links above to learn more about each test, see sample reports, as well as the lab test fees. At Systems Health Care, we are only providing RGCC testing for current as well as new patients. Here at SHC, we then take the RGCC test results and combine them with our applied kinesiology testing evaluation methods to help us best determine the most effective treatment approach for YOU. This is what makes our approach different than most other practices. We will test you to see what nutrients and/or other therapeutics will work best for your body, your immune system, and therefore your cancer approach. This means if you are interested in any RGCC test, but not a current patient with a SHC practitioner (and not planning on becoming one), we cannot run a RGCC test on you for your own interpretation or for another doctor. You may contact RGCC for a doctor who is perhaps closer to you or who provides a virtual tele-health approach.

If you’re interested in any of these tests or would like more information please ask at your next appointment or send us an email. For new patients, please call the office to schedule and let the staff know you are also interested in RGCC testing. Typically, we will do the test after the first office appointment if warranted.
